Optimize your recovery with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Enhance your body’s natural healing processes with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), where you breathe 100% pure oxygen.
Why Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is beneficial
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) delivers 100% oxygen through a mask while you rest in a pressurized chamber at our Longevity Clinic. By breathing pure oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure, your blood’s oxygen levels rise, which in turn delivers more oxygen to your tissues. This aims to support your body’s natural healing processes.
The benefits are vast: increased blood oxygen levels can stimulate new blood vessel growth, improve circulation, support memory function as you age, lower blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation, alleviate oxidative stress, and lengthen telomeres. All these effects can help to slow down the aging process sustainably.
Treatment duration
60 - 90 minutes
Treatment frequency
HBOT typically requires 10-20 sessions, depending on your individual goals. The sessions should be completed in the shortest time frame possible - ideally 5 times per week.
How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy works
You'll be seated relaxingly in our pressure chamber wearing comfortable clothing. A mask will be placed over your nose and mouth, and our skilled medical staff will gradually increase the chamber pressure to the optimal level and begin delivering 100% pure oxygen via the mask. You may notice a sensation similar to take-off in an airplane.
During the 60-90 minute session, you’ll breathe normally and can take the time to quietly relax, read, or enjoy a podcast.
As the session concludes, the chamber’s pressure will slowly decrease. Our team will assist you as you remove the oxygen mask and exit the chamber. We recommend drinking plenty of water afterward to stay hydrated.
Maximizing the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
To further enhance the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, consider combining it with AYUN’s Red Light Therapy or IHHT Therapy. These treatments offer additional anti-inflammatory effects, promote circulation, and support tissue healing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who should avoid Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
HBOT is not recommended for individuals with lung or ear conditions (where pressure equalization may be not possible), acute respiratory infections, fever, or seizure disorders. Pregnant individuals should also avoid HBOT. For those with claustrophobia, our team is extra attentive to your comfort.
Can Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy help treat tinnitus?
HBOT shows particular promise for tinnitus treatment within the first three months of onset. The inner ear, often affected by insufficient oxygen supply in tinnitus cases, can benefit from the increased blood oxygen levels provided by HBOT.
